Janes Heyes Exhibition
Château Capitoul is delighted to present CAELO, the new exhibition by Jane Heyes, an artist who has been based in Narbonne for over 25 years.
CAELO, from the Latin meaning “towards the sky, to lift up, celestial vault”, evokes the freedom of birds and that feeling of space that arises when one looks upwards.
This is precisely the vitality Jane brings to her work: vibrant compositions where colour and light guide the eye, opening up new horizons.
Trained in photography, graphic design, illustration and painting, Jane celebrates the landscapes, architecture and light of our coastline as well as the surrounding villages and towns, including Narbonne.
For CAELO, she has cast a sensitive eye over the life of our three estates: Château Capitoul, Les Carrasses and St Pierre de Serjac.
From viewpoints, gardens and interiors, she has created a body of new works that seeks to capture the essence of these unique places: tranquillity, elegance and the joy of life.
Come and meet the artist at the opening and let yourself be carried away by a sunlit palette, a keen graphic eye for detail, and a warmth touched with humour.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Private view: Saturday 25 October, 5–8 pm (artist present)
Venue: Salle Lycia, Château Capitoul
Exhibition: 25 October – 4 February 2026 (inclusive)
Free entry
