THE SECRET MEDITERRANEAN
Chateau Hotel Spa & Luxury Villas in Narbonne, on the Languedoc coast
Perched majestically on a hilltop surrounded by vineyards overlooking a tranquil Mediterranean lagoon Château Capitoul is a magnificent Chateau estate and luxury sanctuary set in 200 acres of beautiful unspoilt countryside in the Languedoc, South of France.
Like the best French wines, Capitoul is an ‘assemblage’ – a destination that blends the best aspects of traditional holiday options : the facilities of a luxury spa hotel, the practicality of villa rental, the authenticity of a working wine estate and the relaxed-yet-attentive service of a private club.
A stay at Capitoul, near Narbonne, demands no compromise : you can choose a stylish room in the 19th century Château or the space and independence of a luxury villa with magnificent views across the vines and lagoon.

Facilities & services
We had an amazing meal (5 courses with wine pairing) at the Mediterraneo end Sept 2021. The restaurant had only been open a few days but everything was perfect; the service was friendly, informative and highly attentive and the food was delicious, using local produce. Thoroughly recommended!
Ate here last night - amazing experience! Drinks on the terrace were divine. Amazing views over the vineyard with sunset over the mountains . The restaurant was buzzing, staff were all so friendly. I am an incredibly difficult customer with an intolerance to garlic - not helpful with French cuisine! The chef team and staff went out of their way to accommodate me. The food was amazing, especially dessert. Will definitely return.
We (family of four, two adults and two 11 year old children) had a wonderful stay in a 3 bedroom villa with private pool end Sept 2021. The villas are beautifully equipped, spacious and with amazing views over the vineyards. We swam everyday in the infinity pool, went on walks and bike rides through the local countryside. The staff were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and attentive. It’s was a real treat and highly recommended! Don’t miss eating at the newly opened gastronomic restaurant - mediterraneo.
Stay for two in a room at the château or share a private villa with friends to celebrate the end of the year 2022.
In the restaurant, a prestigious dinner at Méditéranneo or an evening of dancing at Asado, whatever your evening, it will be memorable!
